INVESTMENTS / PORTFOLIO
We closed the year with a record-breaking fourth quarter pitch day, surpassing our previous record for total investment and member participation. It’s a clear signal of OSA’s continuing commitment to great founders and their great ideas. Since our founding in 2017, we have invested more than $8M in 51 Companies.
MEMBERSHIP
Members drive our success. In 2025, we expanded our geographic reach adding 6 members from well beyond our Oregon base and added valuable experience and expertise to our membership group. Our hybrid communication options for pitch days and other live events allow us to keep our national membership engaged and connected.
FOUNDERS
We love our founders. OSA’s unique Founders Connect program continues to thrive. Through this program, our portfolio company founders and our members share information, insights and advice. Founders Connect serves as a forum to help entrepreneurs solve problems, achieve growth and reach milestones.
DEAL FLOW
To accommodate increased OSA deal flow, we moved operations from deal intake and evaluation to post investment screening and member communications to Dealum, the leading deal management platform for early stage investors. Going into 2026 and beyond, this will allow us to collaborate more effectively with founders and between members while reviewing a greater number of potential investments. Credit to our Investment Committee leaders who led this transition: Kate Richmond, Mark Koerner, John Hull, Pat Hellberg and our outstanding Len Bergstein Memorial Intern, Casey Mornhinweg.
THE FUTURE
The sports industry is incredibly dynamic. With our front-row seat, we see the new technologies, ideas and breakthroughs that will shape the future of sports products, teams and fan participation. And we couldn’t be more excited and energized.
In the coming year, we will continue to support the industry with investments while offering strategic guidance to help founders achieve success.
